Cat Sent From God?

Today a tail-less disfigured kitty invited herself into our house. She ignored the dog, instantly coming to snuggle me and Anaya. She keeps changing position on Anaya's legs.

It's like she's meant to be here. I've never felt such pure love radiating from a being like this cat. Unreal. Anaya's eyes widened and I felt her bliss when touching the kitty's fur.

I think she's adopted us. I hope she doesn't belong to someone else. I keep putting her outside but she won't leave.

If you happen to know this cat please let me know! If you are looking for her, contact me. She won't leave! (we'd love for her to stay)

-Another day in paradise, another moment with my little love. Forever embedded in my heart.

  1. Camara, God, how I wish there was something I could do to help you. If you were just closer. You are everything a mother should be. There could not be another child in this world that is more loved than Anaya. I am going to be praying for her all night tonight. No pain, God, no pain, not babies. I know God has His reasons, but this is just almost not acceptable... as if we have the right to accept. I almost wish the world would end today if it would mean that not one more child has to endure this and not one more parent has to love a child so deeply and then have to watch that child fade away. I am so sorry for you. My heart is breaking this very moment for you. Anaya is such a beautiful little angel. Give her a hug from someone in Tennessee that loves her. And I will think of her when I hug my grandbaby. I will do as you said and soak up everyday; every minute and he will KNOW that he is so loved. If there is anything that I could do, please ask. facebook linda swift mcdonald

  2. What a sweet cat!! Those look like great snuggles.

Many vets will give cats a free check up (and even shots / neutering) if you're adopting a stray!

Precious! ALL God's creatures GREAT & SMALL. They say animals can SENSE certain things & this animal too is not without challenges...they know! There is HEALING that comes from interacting with certain animals.
I believe that God will use ANYTHING, or ANYONE He sees fit, to serve a PURPOSE in our lives here on Earth!!!
Even if the kitty already has a home elsewhere...for the time being, she is WITH YOU & your precious daughter, & there is a REASON for everything! God sends what He will, our way, & if we are wise to recognize His Love & Actions (acts of love), we will see the GREATER picture later...praying for you & your daughter. <3 With Love, Cassandra & Katalina <3

  4. Hello sweet family!

I just wanted to share that, while my mother was recovering from surgery for her ovarian cancer her cat, Shadow, was insistent that she sit on my mother. We all diligently swatted her away, not wanting Shadow to disturb the incision site. Finally my mother asked that we allow Shadow to stay. During my mothers recovery Shadow often could be found carefully curled up over my mothers abdomen purring loudly. 5 years later,
despite dismal statistics, my mother is healthy.
Also, my twins were born premature and my little guy had a hard stay in NICU. After 5 months he finally came home on oxygen and my kitty Tiberius has ever since been close at his side (sometimes to his irritation). Here is a link to more information on the healing properties of purr! I love reading about Anaya and think of her often. She has touched so many lives. Here's to the love and teaching of our brave children! Happy Summer Solstice! http://www.healingmusic.org/Library/Newsroom/ACatsHealingPurr.asp

  5. Cats come when death is near.

  6. I think with a name like Buddha your dog just knew that it was a healing kitty. Maybe Buddha even put the word out that such a kitty was needed?

  7. Re: Cats come when death is near.

I had that same thought. Cats are the guards of the gateway; according to the Egyptians. If it is so, it is. However, I have decided to name the cat Love, and Love will guide Anaya through to whatever lays beyond this life :)

  8. Love is a wonderful name for your kitty. That's what she's bringing to you and Anaya - more love. And, we all love that :)

  9. Perfect name for your kitty. Sorry it left you two. Maybe it just stayed as long as needed. :) You're in my prayers

What an absolutely horrible thing to say. I can't stop shaking my head in disbelief that someone would actually post that comment. Did you not come with a "filter"?

Besides being a complete 'ass', who the heck are you to even say that? I am completely appalled at your lack of respect for this site and ignorance to the content. Camara has made this a beautiful place for people to come to read about her special girl who we all have grown to love and you come along with that stupid comment. I hope you realize how completely insensitive it was.

Anonymous perhaps you should remember the rule you should have learned when you were young ... If you don't have something nice to say DON'T say anything at all!

  11. Speaking of death is not necessarily rude or horrible or "not nice".

Anaya is a strong life force because of how her life is partnered so closely with the prospect of death.

Camara's strength is rooted in her deep acceptance of both the possibility of life and that of death.

I am not the person who made the initial comment but I greatly admire the grace with which Camara accepted this comment.

  12. Sherry, I couldn't have said it better myself. And signed "anonymous", how appropriate for such a coward.

I think of Anaya everyday and constantly check for updates, hope all is going well! Love and Hugs from Utah!

  13. Some people believe that cats are able to see the human aura, the energy field that surrounds each of us.
A cat sneezing is a good omen for everyone who hears it. - Italian superstition
Often, when a cat makes an uncommon appearance in our lives it is a message for us to shake up our habitual routines and make some fresh changes in our lives, as well as be more flexible in our thinking.
